A typical Dutch cake is the so-called cake. Yes, Yes in naming, they were not very idea-rich ;) The cake itself is actually also not special, but still very tasty.
To get rid of the remaining Speculaas cookies of Christmas, I've slightly modified the recipe and simply made a spiced cake from this. Is very fascinating, by the way, that the spiced biscuit pieces are soft after baking. Enjoy the after-baking!
200 g butter
200 g sugar
200 g flour
2 TSP baking soda
8 g vanilla sugar
a pinch of salt
50 ml milk
4 TL Spekulatius spice
250 g ginger biscuits
Speculaas cookies into small pieces (CA. 1 x 1 cm) break.
200 g butter, 200 g of sugar and 8 beat g vanilla sugar.
The four eggs separately add, mix until they are recorded in the dough.
50 ml milk and 200 g flour with 2 Alternately add teaspoon of baking powder and a pinch of salt.
4 TL Spekulatius spices add and reverse mix.
Finally stir in the ginger pieces.
Give the dough in greased loaf cake tin.
In the oven at 160° C 60 min. long bake.
