[Recipe] Apple and caramel muffins

The dough for the muffins is not too sweet, because they are filled with caramel candy, What gives them the right sweetness. Thanks 2 1/2 Go the muffins also nice TSP baking powder. You can eat them too good a week later, that oil keeps it beautifully fresh! But warm taste of course best ;)


for 12 Muffins
2 Apples
12 Caramels (z.B. Giant caramel)
2 small eggs
160 ml milk
80 ml oil
1 TSP vanilla extract
1 Pinch of salt
150 g flour
100 g wheat wholemeal flour
2 1/2 TSP baking soda
1/2 TSP cinnamon
150 g sugar
50 g of brown sugar



Core apples, Peel and cut into small cubes.

2 small eggs, 160 ml milk, 80 ml oil, 1 Stir together Teaspoon vanilla extract and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
In a separate bowl 150 g flour, 100 g wheat wholemeal flour, 2 1/2 TSP baking soda, 1/2 TSP cinnamon, 150 g of sugar and 50 g of brown sugar mix.
Add content to the other Bowl. Taste just mix.
Stir in the Apple pieces.

Fill the muffin cups half full of batter.
In the Middle put each a caramel candy.
Completely fill the shapes with dough.

5 Minutes at 220° C Bake.
Then the temperature runter schalten down switching 190° C and more 13-14 Minutes Bake.
