Portuguese puff pastry tarts filled with pudding.
185 g cream
500 ml milk
100 g sugar
1 Pack of vanilla powder
25 g flour
25 g Cornflour
4 Egg yolk
1 Cinnamon stick
a few drops of lemon juice
185 g cream, 500 ml milk, 100 g sugar, 1 Pack of vanilla powder, 25 g flour, 25 g Cornflour, 4 Egg yolk, 1 Mix cinnamon and a few drops of lemon juice in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil it slowly and patiently – Watch, that nothing is burning!
Stirring occasionally, until a cream is created.
Take the pot from the stove and let lukewarm. And again stir, so that no skin is formed.
Meanwhile cut the puff pastry into squares and thus interpreted the buttered Muffinsbackform or silicone moulds.
The cooled pudding can occur in the ramekins.
For 20 min. at 200° C Bake.
May be slightly high temperature bake, If you want darker pastéis de Nata. Mine were quite bright – but tasty!
