Tonight we have to twist the fingers again for the German football team!
And chocolate is well-known for it’s good impact for the nerves. Which will hopefully not too much jangled like at the last game…
Little note: Take time – the cake needs to bake 60 min in the oven!
for 1 cake
250 ml dark beer
250 g butter
75 g cocoa powder
250 g flour
250 g sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 pinch of salt
150 g sour cream
for decoration (Optional)
200 g dark chocolate
75 g cream
Boil up 250ml dark beer with 250g butter.
Stir in 75g cocoa powder.
Mix and then add 250g flour, 250g sugar, 1 tsp baking powder and a pinch of salt.
Wisk 3 eggs and 150g sour cream until it’s smooth and add to the beer batter.
Bake in the preheated oven at 180° C for 60 min.
In the top of a double boiler, melt 200g dark chocolate with 75g cream and decorate with it the cake.
